Two people know what happens up front. Two hundred don't. Whether flying fascinates you or weighs on you, that closed door is what makes the difference — so I open it. You take the controls of a full-motion A320neo, in the machine airlines use to qualify their crews, with a line pilot in the seat beside you.
You are not booking an hour of machine time, you are choosing what you want to fly. Tell me a week ahead and the session is ready when you walk in.
To start with
Good weather, end of the day, a straightforward airfield. You take off, fly a circuit, come back and land. This is the one people pick when they have no idea what to expect.
For the thrill
Crosswind, poor visibility, a short runway. We do it again as many times as you like, and look together at what changed between two attempts.
The full thing
Preparation, takeoff, cruise, descent, approach, landing. Checklists, radio, two pilots working together. A real line sector from start to finish.
Yours
Flying somewhere soon and you'd like to know what to expect? We fly that one first. Same airport, same runway, same aircraft, and I explain every sound as it happens.
The airports available are the ones loaded on the machine. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll tell you straight away whether it can be done.
The same content whichever length you choose.
The cabin moves on its jacks throughout the session. That is what separates this from a fixed-base simulator.
Airports, weather, time of day, a particular approach. Tell me what you'd like to fly at least a week ahead and I build the session around it.
Type-rated on the A320. An hour on the ground with him before you fly, to ask the questions nobody asks on board. Then he sits to your right.
You book the simulator, not a seat. The price does not change with the number of people, and you take turns at the controls.

One hour of briefing on the ground, then the simulator with the motion running, then a twenty-minute debrief. You leave with your logbook page: the date, the aircraft, the route flown and my signature.
SereniWings started from a simple idea: show the flight deck to people who never get to see it.
Sessions are flown with an airline pilot type-rated on the Airbus A320, currently flying the European network.
Before the flight deck he came into aviation through other doors: maintenance, ground operations, then ground instruction on business jets. That is what shapes the way a session runs: everything is explained before it is done, and nothing is assumed.
These are simulator flights, not certified training: they count towards no licence or rating.
Time on the ground first: how a flight unfolds, the noises explained in order, the breathing. Then the flight deck, at your own pace, with the chance to repeat the moment that bothers you as many times as you want.
A day for a team: groups taking turns at the controls, decisions made in pairs, and a setting where you see very quickly how each person works under pressure.
No. You are booking the simulator, not a seat: the price is the same whether you come alone, as two or as three. Coming as three is the simplest way to share the cost.
You share the time you booked however you like. As three over one hour, that is about twenty minutes each; over two hours, about forty.
None at all. The pilot sitting next to you explains every action before you do it.
Yes. Departure and destination airport, route, weather, time of day, a particular approach. Let me know at least a week beforehand so I have time to set it up. The airports available are the ones loaded on the machine: tell me what you have in mind and I'll say straight away whether it can be done.
No. These are simulator flights, not certified training: they count towards no licence or rating. The pilot flying with you is type-rated on the A320.
Yes, 14. Participants under 18 come with a responsible adult who stays for the whole session. Valid photo ID is required from everyone.
Smart dress is required. No sportswear, no shorts, no flip-flops. The BAA Training centre is a professional workplace, and access can be refused for unsuitable clothing.
Tell me as early as you can. More than 60 days before, postponing costs nothing; between 60 and 30 days, half the price remains due; under 30 days, the session is due in full. The detail is in the Cancelling and postponing section.
